I’ll be absolutely 100% honest with y’all — I couldn’t pretend I didn’t enjoy this. At last, some more folks got up the cajones to put their foot down, rise up and hit the bully back. And after a year and a half of relentless US-backed oppression and genocide, Israel — like your standard-issue bully — instantly starts screaming victim and runs crying to the teacher.

I couldn’t pretend not to enjoy the footage of Israelis nervously lined up at airports, scrambling aboard buses and boats, running all over each other to get out of “their” country. What’sa matter, gang? That land was promised to you by god. What are you running for?

Trump’s remarks were real class, too — the more he bragged, the more you knew Israel was getting a first-class ass-paddling. So goddamn MUCH winning, there, Donster.

Hats off to Iran for having the strength and courage to teach Israel that actions have consequences.

Almost as if somebody threw a switch someplace, Western media were suddenly awash in fotos and video of bombed-out buildings and people weeping for lost and missing loved ones and agonizing over the trauma of having to hole up in basements all night in… Tel Aviv.

Yes, that’s right, the capitol of the most reviled nation on Earth, led by a skeezy cabal of psychotic genocidal fascist murderers, trained and funded by an equally skeezy cabal of psychotic genocidal fascist murderers — is begging us to “not remain silent” and stand with Israel as they get some well-deserved payback at last.

The Sick Man of Earth

It's damn near official: the US is the epicenter of this pandemic, in more ways than one.

The US is waging economic warfare against Iran, Iraq, Venezuela and Cuba as they struggle to contain the pandemic in their nations, even as Cuba sends doctors to assist efforts in Italy and elsewhere in Europe. The US has also attempted to block delivery of masks and respirators to Barbados, of all places.

The US Federal government is seizing shipments of masks and ventilators destined for hospitals in Massachusette, New Jersey and other states. The Governor of New York is still cutting Medicaid funds in the middle of a pandemic — and, of course, the Democratic Party is insisting on dragging voters to the polls in person for the Wisconsin Primary, despite the horrorshow in Illinois.

Acts of war, piracy, deprivation, fraud?
It should be pretty clear by now who the real "sick man" is on this planet.

Media, Bloody Media

Not even in the sickest depths of Iraq War v2.0 did I hear anyone in the media quite this wide-open raving, drooling and horny for war as ex-White House henchman and current right-wing radio howler Sebastian Gorka. Dude totally sails over the edge of the Earth, comes around the other side, proclaims the US to be a "hyperpower", then sails over the edge again on — who else but — Lou Dobbs' program on Fox Business.

The guy is scum to the bone — just check him out for a few seconds — but you still have to give him credit for having the sheer naked cajones to come right how and declare how horny he is for war in the public media. Dude's not even hiding it; big ups for that, at least.

It’s often been said, ever since the days of Usenet and Tiananmen Square, that the Internet interprets censorship as damage and routes around it. As it was in those bygone days, so it is today, as the US State pressures Wikileaks’ “cloud” provider and DNS service to take steps in an attempt to silence dissent.

The problem is — at least, if you’re the US State, it’s a problem — Wikileaks can still be reached on the Web via any number of alternate links, such as through its numeric “dotted quad” IP addresses here and here. It can also be reached through its alternate domains in Switzerland and the Netherlands.

Nuclear Threat

I saw on the morning news the footage of the first successful synthesis of uranium by the Iranians. I saw a scientist holding up this little capsule of radioactive gas with this theatrically triumphant attitude. As I heard the pundits clucking on TV, I reminded myself, "OK, Iran's finally gone nuclear, but who's the real nuclear threat in the Middle East?" Every time I asked myself this, I kept coming up with the same answer:



BIG HINT: it begins with an "I", ends with an "L", and has "S-R-A-E" in the middle. Has anyone else noticed how the US Press and the State are shitting themselves over Iran finally managing to produce some crummy-assed smidgen of enriched uranium, while failing to point out that Israel has enough nukes to make a ring of craters around itself?

Let's take a calm, close look, here. On the one hand, we have a nation that's just now reached the Pinky And The Brain stage of nuclear development; on the other, a nation with at least 200 functional nuclear weapons of various types -- most of which were supplied by the USA -- on standby, ready to light the place up. Those of us out here who aren't profoundly retarded can see who the real nuclear threat is here, and would really appreciate it if the US Media would quit jerking us around.
