The Most Busted Name In News

It sure has been a real shitburner of a month for U.S. corporate media, hasn't it? Aside from other notable debacles last week, the top honors went to CNN for their spectacular self-own involving the wrong date on an email in a Wikileaks trove in its "bombshell" Russiagate report which cited multiple sources -- unnamed, of course. Once the correct date on the email was revealed, CNN's "bombshell" -- like pretty much all U.S. media Russiagate "bombshells" -- turned out to be a big, empty dry fart.

But wait, there's more! After that whole hot mess collapsed, David Frum, senior editor of The Atlantic, added to the hilarity by going on CNN, looking the whole country straight in the eye, and telling us that “The mistakes are precisely the reason people should trust the media." Ohhhh, yeeeaaahhh. Keep fucking that chicken, Dave.

The Latest Russiagate "Smoking Gun"

And so, yet another wannabe neo-McCarthyite "journalist" is busted faking it at a major US media outlet. I can't pretend I'm not enjoying this.

This was inspired by an article that appeared this week in Sputnik News which totally shreds the hell out of a sloppy-ass hit piece by Julia Ioffe in The Atlantic about a meeting between Julian Assange and Donald Trump Jr. which was trumpted as some kind of "smoking gun" that would validate the last year and a half's worth of neo-McCarthyite conspiracist freakery.

Drip, drip, drip -- muthafuckaaahhhs.

Put A Fork In 'Em

So, despite a strong progressive groundswell for Keith Ellison, Clinton flunkie Tom Perez has been elected Chairman of the Democratic Party (as if it really matters), and he won the way you always win in the Democrats -- by kissing Wall Street's ass, sucking Israel's cock, and taking a big, steaming dump all over the Left.

This was inspired by a recently-tweeted nugget of gold from the John Podesta email leak trove, a snotty little fart by Perez in reply to one of the Hillary campaign honcho's missives.

So, how'd that "stick a fork in him" thing work out for you guys?

#DNCleaks

At last report, there is absolute zero evidence that the Russians had squat to do with the recent Wikileaks dump of Democratic National Committee emails detailing the program of fraud and sabotage against the Sanders campaign. Still, that hasn't stopped all manner of Liberal Democratic mouthpieces like MSNBC shrieking at full throat about how "the Russians did it".

Actually, I think it's too bad that the Russians didn't do it, because ma-aan, would that have been some poetic justice.

Delete Your Account

So, anyway, about a week or so ago, Donald Trump had one of his usual bigoted Tourette's outburts on Twitter -- nothing of note, really -- to which the Clinton campaign responded curtly, "Delete your account". Obviously, it wasn't the Ice Queen herself, but some mouthy intern who probably thought she was being all cool and edgy n'stuff.

Delete your account, I thought... was it perhaps really a command to the People to forget everything they know about the Clintons? You know, like:

Delete your account of Hill'n'Bill's excellent adventures in Serbia, Somalia, Iraq, Afghanistan, the Sudan?

Delete your account of Hillary's tenure on the Board Of Directors of Wal-Mart, whose reputation with workers has been in the toilet for years?

Delete your account of Hillary carpetbagging her way into a New York Senate seat, where she accomplished exactly nothing except to build out the infrastructure for a Presidential campaign?

Delete your account of Hillary's support for the Patriot Act, the War On Terror, and the disaster in Iraq?

Delete your account of Hillary's support for the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement?

Delete your account of Hillary's remarks to the board of Goldman Sachs, for which she received $670,000? An average speech, for Hill, considering how much she and Bubba get per speech on any given speaking tour. Six-seventy large, man -- in some parts of this country, that'd still buy you a house.

That's just a slice of the lies, deceit, betrayal, greed and hypocrisy that Hillary, the DNC, and the aging Liberal establishment would like you to forget, so you can be "united".

Delete your account. Hell, if there's anybody who knows how to work a delete key, it's Hillary Clinton.

Yes, We Scan!

A far healthier turnout than I'd expected was on hand on Capitol Hill yesterday to mark the 12th anniversary of the Patriot Act with a protest against NSA abuse of citizens' privacy under the Obama Administration.

A coalition of groups ranging from Code Pink and ThinkProgress to the Libertarian Party and FreedomWorks came together for an event that was "not about Left or Right, but about Right and Wrong". Now, that's bipartisanship.

...because Ideas Are Bulletproof!

This past week the FBI, in a nationwide sweep, arrested 16 members of Anonymous in connection with the famous DDoS of PayPal (yeah, fuck PayPal) in solidarity with Wikileaks — including a 13 year-old boy whose family was terrorized at gunpoint while agents searched their house and siezed computer equipment. Shortly after the arrests, the National Lawyers Guild responded with an offer of defense and other legal resources to the arrested Anons.

This cartoon is in solidarity with the arrested Anons in the USA and with Anons worldwide… because ideas are bulletproof.

Black Monday! Tsunami Reaches Bank Of America

So, I’m digesting all the news from Japan, about the earthquake and tsunamis, and about how the tsunamis are eventually supposed to reach the US mainland, when I also get the news about Anonymous’ upcoming “Black Monday” massive leaks of private Bank Of America emails revealing evidence of mortgage fraud and corruption. At that moment I realized it was time for another parody of a famous work of art…

Don't Retreat -- Retweet!

As inspired by the revolution in Tunisia, and the inflammatory violent rhetoric of Sarah Palin.

I read recently that after Twitter’s records were subpoenaed by the Feds, the number of users “following” Wikileaks increased by at least 12,000. Talk about your Spartacus Moment.

Here’s one for all you Twits out there who have followed Wikileaks since forever and who followed them since the subpoenas and for all the Twitter rioters in Tunisia. Until the final victory!

Expect Us

I don’t think I need to spend any more time here discussing the Anonymous vis-a-vis Wikileaks vs. The Feds situation, so I’ll just shut the hell up and get on with the goddamn’ cartoon, already.

…and, while you’re at it — now that you’ve finally jumped off of the Gabrielle Giffords Media Frenzy Train — why not catch up on what Anonymous has been up to in Tunisia:

*No, dumbass; not that Ben Ali.

We Are All Anonymous

Don't Retreat -- Retweet!

Just to refresh your memories — those of you who’ve been totally sucked into the Gabrielle Giffords media circus — last Friday, the US Department of “Justice” served subpoenas on Twitter seeking information on the accounts of activists connected to or in solidarity with Wikileaks. The attorney representing Wikileaks has — and rightly so — termed this action “harassment”, and an Icelandic MP and former anarchist sounded the alarm in a series of outraged tweets, commenting “USA government wants to know about all my tweets and more since november 1st 2009. Do they realize i am a member of parliament in iceland?”

I’d like to encouarge everyone reading this to “follow” Wikileaks on Twitter — or get an account, if you don’t have one, and “follow” Wikileaks — and tweet the message “I Am Spartacus” to Wikileaks and any other followers you have, and point to this open letter to the “Justice” Department from Anonops, as well as retweeting any important news from Wikileaks.

There Will Always Be More Of Us Than There Are Of Them

"I am Spartacus!"

At last count, there were 1697 mirrors of Wikileaks available online. The mirror URLs shown in these posters are working as of today, 12.11.10.

Good luck, Senator Lieberman.

Alternate Wikileaks Links Available!

Thorn In Imperialism's Side Not Deterred By Cowardly Hosts, DNS Providers

It’s often been said, ever since the days of Usenet and Tiananmen Square, that the Internet interprets censorship as damage and routes around it. As it was in those bygone days, so it is today, as the US State pressures Wikileaks’ “cloud” provider and DNS service to take steps in an attempt to silence dissent.

The problem is — at least, if you’re the US State, it’s a problem — Wikileaks can still be reached on the Web via any number of alternate links, such as through its numeric “dotted quad” IP addresses here and here. It can also be reached through its alternate domains in Switzerland and the Netherlands.

I’d like to encourage everyone reading this to follow that grand old Web censorship-defeating tradition of “mirroring” and passing alternate links around, and post these links to your blog or Web site:

http://213.251.145.96/
http://46.59.1.2/
http://wikileaks.ch/
http://www.wikileaks.nl/

Wikileaks is also mirrored at over 200 sites worldwide.

Tough luck, Barack. Better luck next time, Hillary.
