I can’t pretend I’m not enjoying this. No, really, I’ll be totally honest with y’all.

What needs to happen is finally happening in France and is spreading all across Europe. I’m getting to see it happen in near-real time, and it’s exhilarating. The working class is catching fire and rising up, and the ruling class is shitting bricks.

It’s the only way to civil and economic justice, and the only way to prevent world war. It won’t be done by “elections” and politicians, it won’t be done through “democracy”.

We have to do it.

No Kings, No Threat

They’re burnin’ down the house in France and, meanwhile, here in Shithole USA, people at the “No Kings” events were being told not to bring up Iran and Palestine while the speakers cheer for NATO and the Nazi thugs in Ukraine. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I can see who the real “surrender monkeys” are.

On the upside, “No Kings” apparently cratered hard this year; it’s almost as if people are getting hip to their bullshit and have quit wasting their time.

I can only hope.

White House Halloween Card

I was working in the lab late one night, telling myself to not waste time doing cartoons about bullshit issues like the White House ballroom, the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, or renaming the Kennedy Center and Lake Ontario. The problem is that they keep presenting themselves as metaphors for far more important issues than a building – in this case, the way this kind of asshattery always struck me as symbolic of the boorishness, the tackiness, the selfishness, the conceit and butt-naked narcissism of America.

You’d think that by this point a doorknob like Trump would have outgrown this type of Halloween zaniness, but apparently not.
